College Coaches Recommendations

Take your academics seriously from your freshman year on, not your junior year. Do well in your CORE COURSES.

Take the ACT/SAT at least once in your junior year.

Being pro-active in your recruitment. Don't assume that as college coaches, we know about you.

Be realistic about your ability. Everyone wants to play DI, but unfortunately not everyone can. There are great opportunities at the DII and DIII level as well.

Many College coaches routinely start to look for "PROSPECTIVE" student-athletes in one's freshman and sophomore years per NCAA Rules to learn more about them and gather information on them.

Don't assume that coaches will contact you first.

Play hard, study hard

Take advantage of unofficial visits in your junior year.

Complete the FAFSA Form and Clearinghouse Form

Communication with college coaches is very important

Choose a school that best fits you personally, academically and athletically and not based entirely on the amount of money a school is offering.
